Supporting Your Health. Supporting Your Success.

Welcome to Saint Peter’s University Health Services, your on-campus resource for healthcare, wellness education, and health-related support. Our nurse-directed college health facility is committed to providing accessible, compassionate, and confidential care to help students maintain their health and succeed academically.

Mission

The Department of Health Services advances a Culture of Campus Health by providing accessible, confidential, and quality medical care for the entire student body. Wellness education and preventative services are offered in an environment supportive and accepting of all diverse student populations that will optimize students’ physical well-being through compassionate medical care. Health Services provides a variety of healthcare and wellness resources designed to meet the needs of our college community.

  • First Aid & Acute Illness Care
Our nursing staff provides first aid and care for common acute illnesses and minor health concerns. Students are encouraged to visit Health Services when they are not feeling well or need assistance with a health-related concern.
  • Routine Health & Nutrition Assessments
We provide routine health and nutrition assessments to support students in maintaining healthy lifestyles and identifying potential health concerns.
  • Physician Assistant Services
A physician assistant is available one day each week to examine, diagnose, and treat students experiencing acute illnesses.
  • Health Education & Resources
Health education and resource materials are available upon request. Our goal is to provide students with reliable information that can help them make informed decisions about their health and wellness.
  • Referrals & Community Resources
When additional medical care is appropriate, Health Services provides referrals to outside healthcare providers and agencies. A list of local medical agencies and clinics is available to students when needed.
