The Center of Chinese Language Teacher’s Education

Mission Statement

Dedicated to advancing cross-cultural engagement and accessible Chinese language education, this Center develops tailored curricula and cultural programs to meet the academic needs of campus communities and the educational interests of local society. It offers comprehensive Chinese language instruction, public cultural lectures, thematic exhibitions, and traditional celebratory events, while independently curating and adapting teaching resources from partner institutions and localized materials to fit regional learning contexts.

The Center oversees Chinese Language proficiency testing and professional training for students and local Chinese educators, conducting all academic and cultural initiatives in full compliance with the university policies and U.S. federal and state regulations. Serving as the university’s community outreach entity, it expands public access to Chinese linguistic and cultural education, fosters informed understanding of Chinese society and traditions, and refines its programs through community feedback to align with the university’s core educational and public service mission
